Back, Left to Right: MAC Desert rose, MAC Buff, Nars Duo Desire & Amour Front, Left to Right: MAC Hand loose, MAC Briar rose, and Nars Orgasm.
MACs Desert Rose
Starting with MAC in Desert Rose, this blush has a matte finish so there is no shimmer in it and its also a powder blush. This was given to me by my granny for christmas and I am just getting round to trying out now. However it is a lovely dusty reddy/pink colour, you can wear this as an everyday blush applied lightly as it is quite pigmented and true to its colour, or apply slightly heavier for nights out for a lovely rosey red cheek! As my granny got this for me I have no idea if MAC still stocks this colour, so have a look online, however MAC do have such a wide range of colours i'm sure you could find a colour that closely resembles this one. :)
MACs Buff
Next we have MAC in Buff, Buff is another powder blush with a matte finish, this was my very first blush. It is very buildable neutral, however I would only normally wear this in winter because of the brown colour. I also believe this is part of MACs permanent collection. MAC can be quite expensive these blushes are £17.50 but I think it is a good investment because I would rather invest more money in a product that lasts all day on my face, looks good, and it will last you a long time (as you get quite a bit of product). It is also possible to use as a bronzing/contour colour depending on skin type, so multi-purpose, yayyy!
Nars Duo in Amour & Desire
I have only recently got into Nars cosmetics, and they are now my favourite for blush, in my collection I have this duo and one other blush that i'll mention later. Both blushes are a matte powder blush, Amour is a beautiful hot vibrant pink, and Desire is pretty much identical to MACs Desert rose. I got this duo in a Nars kit that came with the blush duo, two lipgloss' and the famous orgasm illuminator. Nars is a bit pricier than MAC, but you do pay for quality, and Nars has not failed me yet! I like the duo as you get two blushes to choose from in one compact, there may not look like much product but both blushes are SOOOOOO pigmented, you need the tiniest bit on your brush.
MACs Hang Loose
This blush is a mineralize blush so there is a lot of shimmer, I love shimmer and glitter and anything sparkly, so i love this blush a lot! Hang Loose is a duo blush, it has a gorgeous pale baby pink, and a slightly smaller shimmery lilac colour, these colours swirled together are just a match made in heaven! I got this blush as an outlet so I doubt MAC still do it but have a look anyway and at their other mineralize blushes, if you like shimmer these blushes are perfect for you. Although more expensive at around £20. The finish is a VERY subtle pinky glow but colour is build able.
MACs Briar Rose
Sorry everyone this is yet again another limited edition, from MACS venomous villain collection. But the you can find colours extremely similar in their permanent collection. Briar Rose is another dusty pink (I love pinks!) This is another one of my go to blushes, it's a beautiful colour for spring and summer. I love the packaging of this blush as you can see from the main picture at top, and this blush has a little mirror inside, very handy! :). This was slightly more expensive as it is bigger and more product as there is 10g compared to the normal matte blushes that are only 6g.
Nars Orgasm
Ok, so I know everyone knows about Nars famous orgasm, but really it is one of the best blushes I have ever tried. I purchased this from space NK about a month ago, and I have used it probably everyday?! The colour is a lovely golden shimmery pink, and it's unbelieveable on the cheek, honestly. My favourite blush, and fave product from Nars by far! I could not say more good things about this blush, so get out now and GET ONE!
Thank you everyone for reading, hope you enjoyed my fave blushes, and hope the reviews helped. As usual any more information, pictures etc just email, tweet or comment below.
