Glossy Box - April ♥

April Edition of Glossy Box - The Natural Box!

Hello glittertastic people! As promised here is the April glossy box post! :) I am not going to spend ages talking about what Glossy Box is etc, as I am sure everyone knows so, let's jump straight into it!

So as you may have realized the box, is not its usual lovely pale pink self! Instead this neutral creamy colour is this is their Natural Beauty box. This box is a limited edition 100% biodegradable. Inside is also in keeping with the eco-friendly style, having a plain cream bow, cream paper & brown shredding to protect the products! The box also came packaged in a normal brown box instead of their normal postage packaging!

Anyways, on to the more exciting stuff - the products! As usual 5 samples arrived in my package and I am rather pleased, especially with 4!

First thing I noticed as soon as I opened it was this big orangey bottle! This is the Ayuuri-Natural Body Wash in Sandalwood. This was a pretty big sample! As you get 200ml when the full size is just a smidge bigger at 230ml! There was 4 different scents you could get an I am satisfied with mine. The range is based on fruit, plant and flower extracts that have long been used in India to enhance skin's natural beauty! I have not tried it yet but I like the smell and plan on enjoying this in the bath this evening!

Next product that caught my eye was the little package titled 'Rambling Rose' This product is a lip balm AND FULL SIZE! This lip balm is 100% pure, natural and organic, by Figs and Rouge. Its a multipurpose balm excellent for soothing and hydrating dry lips as well as skin. I have tried it I LOVE scent which is of roses, but I am not to skin on the formula for my lips it feels slightly gritty.. but I can deal with it, as it does hydrate very well. And at only £3.29 I might repurchase if I say it out one day.

Next we have the Inika cosmetic, organic consistency unparalleled in the world of natural liners. I definitely agree about the formula this pencil just glides on and I was delighted with the colour I received as I don't actually own a brown eyeliner so yay for glossy box! This is another full size product so no complaints
Next we have a product that I do like, but not to happy with the sample size, as these are meant to be deluxe samples and this in my opinion is a bit pathetic.. But never the less I enjoy the smell. Its the KAI perfume oil. An intoxicating signature perfume oul fraganced with Kai's light, intoxicating blend of gardenia wrapped in white exotics. The smell is nice but only nice to try, I would't go out and purchase this in full size. Look at how tiny the sample is though! Not impressed..

Finally was a face and neck cream, which I wasn't fussed on so I give it to my mum so sorry I don't have a picture but I'll give you the details so if you are interested you can look it up! :) It's the Caudalie Vinosource SOS thirst-quenching serum. Newly launched serum is extremely natural and plant-based, ensuring your skin never lacks moisture. This is a serum I only like serums for my hair honestly, and I am not all for trying new moisturizers/ changing them up, as my Clinque moisturizer is my favourite and works a treat so not fussed on trying this but my mum really likes it and I the sample was 10ml and full size is 30ml for £29 so you do the maths, not a bad sample size, eh?

That's is guys, so let me know what YOU got in YOUR glossy box, or what you wished you had of got!

Until next time, Love

Chloe - xoxo

Check it Out! ♥

Check it out :)

Hey Cuties! So tomorrow I plan on doing a post on my April Glossy Box (yayy) so check back soon! Also soon urban decay liner review will be up maybe Sunday, Monday or tomorrow if I feel like blogging more!

Any hows this is just a short blog post on a website I came across and made a purchase.. hmm.. 2/3 months ago? Can't remember but I never went back on until a few days ago! I don't know if anyone knows about it but I think you should get on especially if you live in the UK, as it does quite a few most wanted american products/brands!

The website is called http://www.bathandbodyshop.co.uk/  ( I am not in any from being made to write this post just wanted to share it with fellow bloggers/ beauty enthusiasts who would be interested! :) )

I would seriously go on and have a look! Everyone who is in the beauty community on youtube or watches those videos from the UK all probably have heard of, Bath and Body Works. I have always seen products from there that I have wanted to get my hands on especially their candles/hand sanitisers! This website has a big collection to choose from AND is UK based!!

Bath and Body Works is just one of many brands, theres NYX products, which I probably will purchase the jumbo pencil in milk, as I have heard such good things about it. Also Victoria Secret products are there too! Yes all the products are bath/body related.

Like I said I did make a purchase a few months ago, which was for hand sanitiser and a EOS lipbalm, honestly the lipbalms by EOS is by far my favourite lip balm in the world! (I bought one and now have 3...) Also would love to try the EOS hand cream which this site also stocks.

The shipping is fast and products well packaged, as well as the products being fairly priced. So get on there and get some amazing products!

p.s The bath and body works candles, in my opinion buy a small one and try the scent too see if you like it, because in my case I bought a large one and didn't like the scent, although my mum did like it! So not all bad  :)

Love,

Add a Drop of Colour ♥

Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo

Helloooo!

So today I have a post for you all, on the Maybelline 24hr color tattoo eyeshadows! YAY. So as you all probably know about these as they are a big craze worldwide. But I know they are a big big BIG hit in the US, and after a very long wait finally have arrived in the UK, and got my hands on 5.

So here you have it! The 5 amazing shades I picked up over the past week. Top row: (left to right) 05-Eternal Gold, 35-On and On Bronze, 40-Permanent Taupe. Bottom row:  15-Endless Purple & 20-Turquoise Forever.

Eyeshadow jars, and swatches.

So a bit about the color tattoo. In the UK there is a total of 7 shades, of which I have 5. They are basically (in a nut shell) a gel-cream eyeshadow that lasts all day! that doesn't crease and just glides on. These have been said to be dupes for MACs paint pots, which honestly I can't tell you a lot about as I only have one MAC paint pot, but I do see a very close resemblance, and everyone says they are dupes, so you can make up your own mind. At only £4.99 a pot, and currently on buy one get a half off the next at boots are a steal! http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Colour-Tattoo-24HR-by-Eyestudio_1253778/

The colour range in the UK I have to say isn't as good as Americas but never the less still beautiful colours. As you can see from the photos I picked up 3 more neutral everyday colours, and 2 more vibrant colours. The consistency of this product is lovely, as its nice and creamy and it does exactly as it says on the box! Glides on and I find didn't crease throughout the whole day, which is great! 4 of the shades I have all have glitter in them and I have one matte which is the Permanent Taupe. The only thing I didn't like about this product is the Purple eyeshadow in Endless purple, I found with all the others that they glide on far more easier than it, and you need a few coats of the purple to get the perfect all over colour, maybe its just mine? Who knows, let me know if you have this and you find this happens.

05- Eternal Gold

35- On and On Bronze
40- Permanent Taupe
15- Endless Purple
20- Turquoise Forever

All in all I would give Maybelline 5/5 for this amazing product, so go GET INKED

Lots of Love,

Chloe -xoxo

Luscious Lashes ♥

Love Alpha Mascara

Hey everyone!

I would like to apologise for my slight absence over the past week! I have just started back to school :( , and as I said in a previous post my A-Levels are looming. So that is sort of the top priority, so sorry!

But I am back with an amazing product review! and as you can probably tell by the title its mascara! yay! :)

Love Alpha cashmere micronesia natural fiber mascara and transplanting gel in Black

So above is the mascara product I am reviewing. I found this online on Youtube from a beauty guru and the results looked so good that I decided I had to try it for myself! This mascara is unique to a lot of other products! Inside this little case (that looks very look a glasses case) is two tubes of mascara. The longer tube is the 'transplanting gel' and the slightly smaller tube is the 'natural fibers'.

Two products the kit comes with. Sorry for quality of picture.
The kit comes with both tubes, and little love alpha leaflet and a set of instructions. Basically what this mascara is for is to make your lashes longer but with a twist! The smaller tube has just got tiny little fibers inside that you place onto your lashes, adding to your own natural lash and extended them significantly!

The fiber applicator.

   How to Use

  1. Apply the transplanting gel (like normal mascara) to the base and top of your lashes.
  2. Before gel dries, apply the fiber.
  3. Again apply transplanting gel on fiber to set/cover the fibers.
  4. Before gel dries again, apply the fiber to the ends of your lashes.
  5. Lastly coat eyelashes all over with transplanting gel

Yes I know it seems like a lot of steps just for mascara, but it only really takes a few minutes and for me, the results are WORTH it.

To remove:  It is very easy, all you do is soak cotton pads in warm water and apply the wet pad to the eye for a few seconds and then gently wipe the mascara off.

In my opinion I believe the mascara works a treat! However for some people the small fibers may be very annoying, but I didn't have a problem at all. To but this product I did have to send away to Australia for it.. only down side.. It is cheap at only $28.45, which is about £20 and for a mascara that gives such good results its better than high end mascaras.. (remember this is may opinion) You can get this product from www.body-rapture.com  and I have to say shipping is awfully quick, considering it came from Australia to the UK. They ship worldwide just contact them to find if they ship to your country, and there customer service is great! So I bet after this rant your wondering how my eyelashes did turn out!

This picture is with ordinary mascara.

This is after, using the Love Alpha mascara! This is also applied lightly! And just to let you know my natural lashes are quite short, so to get this I am an extremely happy bunny!

Hope this helped anyone with short lashes, looking for that luscious lash look, like me :).

Until next time, Love

Kurt Geiger Shoes

So yesterday, I was in town getting my hair done, and also made a cheeky little purchase from Kurt Geiger! I actually don't own any Kurt Geiger shoes so I was excited. These pair of shoes I purchased aren't normally something I'd wear but something drew me to them.. hint hint.... GLITTER.

Kurt Geiger : Leonardo

These ladies are Kurt Geigers' Leonardo in Silver. Aren't they AMAZING! Trust me to pick something covered in Glitter! Shame on me :( .

These bad boys, come in black glitter as well, or if you like the style of of shoe but would prefer a more plain simple colour, it is available in 4 other plain colours I think. These where a whopping £110! But they are in Kurt Geigers sale for a great 50% so now just £55, I couldn't pass the opportunity! However the white, and black/patent are just £49 and the other colours including the black glitter are £110! :( but if you live near a Kurt Geiger I am almost certain the black glitter ones where in the sale..

Anyways get online for a showstopping pair of shoes!  http://www.kurtgeiger.com/leonardo-44.html

Bye for now! Love,

Pamper Day ♥

Lazy/Pampering Day!

Hey Glitterstastic people!

So today, I didn't go out over the door, i'm still of on Easter break.. which is why I do have a bit of time on my hands to blog! I am in my final year of secondary school studying my A-Levels so today I got some studying done! But also, decided to have a little 'pampering' day as well.

Firstly I after all my hard work studying, I decided to paint my nails with this Models Own nail polish in the colour 'Emerald City' and if you can't see in the above picture.. yes it is.... GLITTERY. I tell you I have an obession. Emerald city is a lovely emerald green colour basically with small pieces of glitter. I like this nail polish because to get the opacity you only need about two coats of this varnish which is good considering it is a glitter one. Drying time is quite fast too which is a bonus. As you can see from the picture my nails are quite short, and in real life my nails are so teenie tiny! :( But never the less love this polish, bright and sparkly!

I also had a lovely bubble bath with my Philosophy 'Vanilla birthday cake', from the birthday girl set. In this set you get the small 240ml bottle of the vanilla birthday cake bubble bath, shower gel & shampoo all in one bottle! So not only will you an amazing smelling bath, and body, but also your hair! You also receive in the set a little lipgloss, I am not kidding, this lipgloss is the most amazing scent in the world, seriously go and buy it now. I would really love the 'toasted marshmallow' set by philosophy but I can't find it in the UK. You can buy philosophy from boots stores in the UK, this set was £18 I think. You can buy bigger bottles (480ml) of the bubble bath etc also. I also have cinnamon buns and gingerbread girl I would also recommend Cinnamon Buns, OH MY WORD, the smell is amazing. Anyways, so I had a lovely little relaxing bubble bath, as well as with the little heart 'sweetheart soap' from lush (in top picture).

Philosophy's cinnamon buns & gingerbread girl.
So finally after relaxing in the bath I sat and read quite a few chapters on my kindle of my favourite book of all time.. 'The Hunger Games Yes I know everyone rants and raves about the hunger games now since the movie. I seen the movie before having read the books, and after I bought all 3 books, I finished the 2nd and 3rd books (Catching Fire, and Mockingjay) about a week after having seen the film. Then I really wanted to read the first one and compare it to the movie, I am absolutely loving it. If you haven't read the books, I would encourage you to do so, such a good read.

So that's what I did today, hope you all had a wonderful day and a lovely evening, I am probably going to just watch my soaps on t.v and maybe read a few more chapters of my book.

Until next time, Love

Favourite Blushes ♥

My Favourite Blushes!

Hey everyone! So Blush is my favourite make up item, so I wanted to share with you all, my favourite and why I love them so much!

Back, Left to Right: MAC Desert rose, MAC Buff, Nars Duo Desire & Amour
Front, Left to Right: MAC Hand loose, MAC Briar rose, and Nars Orgasm.

MACs Desert Rose

Starting with MAC in Desert Rose, this blush has a matte finish so there is no shimmer in it and its also a powder blush. This was given to me by my granny for christmas and I am just getting round to trying out now. However it is a lovely dusty reddy/pink colour, you can wear this as an everyday blush applied lightly as it is quite pigmented and true to its colour, or apply slightly heavier for nights out for a lovely rosey red cheek! As my granny got this for me I have no idea if MAC still stocks this colour, so have a look online, however MAC do have such a wide range of colours i'm sure you could find a colour that closely resembles this one. :)

MACs Buff

Next we have MAC in Buff, Buff is another powder blush with a matte finish, this was my very first blush. It is very buildable neutral, however I would only normally wear this  in winter because of the brown colour. I also believe this is part of MACs permanent collection. MAC can be quite expensive these blushes are £17.50 but I think it is a good investment because I would rather invest more money in a product that lasts all day on my face, looks good, and it will last you a long time (as you get quite a bit of product). It is also possible to use as a bronzing/contour colour depending on skin type, so multi-purpose, yayyy!

Nars Duo in Amour & Desire

I have only recently got into Nars cosmetics, and they are now my favourite for blush, in my collection I have this duo and one other blush that i'll mention later. Both blushes are a matte powder blush, Amour is a beautiful hot vibrant pink, and Desire is pretty much identical to MACs Desert rose. I got this duo in a Nars kit that came with the blush duo, two lipgloss' and the famous orgasm illuminator. Nars is a bit pricier than MAC, but you do pay for quality, and Nars has not failed me yet! I like the duo as you get two blushes to choose from in one compact, there may not look like much product but both blushes are SOOOOOO pigmented, you need the tiniest bit on your brush.

MACs Hang Loose

This blush is a mineralize blush so there is a lot of shimmer, I love shimmer and glitter and anything sparkly, so i love this blush a lot! Hang Loose is a duo blush, it has a gorgeous pale baby pink, and a slightly smaller shimmery lilac colour, these colours swirled together are just a match made in heaven! I got this blush as an outlet so I doubt MAC still do it but have a look anyway and at their other mineralize blushes, if you like shimmer these blushes are perfect for you. Although more expensive at around £20. The finish is a VERY subtle pinky glow but colour is build able.

MACs Briar Rose

Sorry everyone this is yet again another limited edition, from MACS venomous villain collection. But the you can find colours extremely similar in their permanent collection. Briar Rose is another dusty pink (I love pinks!) This is another one of my go to blushes, it's a beautiful colour for spring and summer. I love the packaging of this blush as you can see from the main picture at top, and this blush has a little mirror inside, very handy! :). This was slightly more expensive as it is bigger and more product as there is 10g compared to the normal matte blushes that are only 6g.

Nars Orgasm

Ok, so I know everyone knows about Nars famous orgasm, but really it is one of the best blushes I have ever tried. I purchased this from space NK about a month ago, and I have used it probably everyday?! The colour is a lovely golden shimmery pink, and it's unbelieveable on the cheek, honestly. My favourite blush, and fave product from Nars by far! I could not say more good things about this blush, so get out now and GET ONE

Thank you everyone for reading, hope you enjoyed my fave blushes, and hope the reviews helped. As usual any more information, pictures etc just email, tweet or comment below.

Love,

Chloe - xoxo

MAC Lipstick Collection ♥

Here is my MAC Lipstick Collection!

- and reviews of each lipstick!

Hello Again!! Decided to do this little MAC lipstick collection, as I know a lot of girls love these types of blogs, and I love reading them. So here we go!

I have quite a small MAC lipstick collection in comparison to a lot of girls but I think I have a good range of colours for all occasions! MAC is my favourite lipstick brand so here is my collection. :)

Left to Right: Liquid Lurex, Impassioned, Viva Glam Gaga, Mellow Mood, Viva Glam Nicki, CremeCup + Gel.

Liquid Lurex

Liquid Lurex is a Dazzle Lipstick formulation, in the tube it looks a horrible green/brown glittery colour, which is not appealing at all. Your probably thinking why on earth did she buy this! Basically I was in an outlet store that I live nearby and they had a lot of MAC lipsticks for £10, instead of £13.50 and none of the shades I really needed.. and then I came across this one.. I swatched it and it is still a greeny/glitter colour but then I swatched another lipstick and then put the Liquid Lurex on top! It give a gorgeous glittery effect (and the green didn't show!)  so I thought this lipstick would be perfect for nights out! Its a really unusual colour.. but I think it was limited edition as I did find it at an Outlet so keep your eyes peeled, it may be re-released in a new collection, never know!

Impassioned

So impassioned has an amplified formulation which, is very creamy and moisturizing for the lips, probably the best formulation for me! Impassioned  is a very deep magenta, dark pink almost red lipstick. I tend to only wear this on nights out as its a very dramatic colour. I bought this about a year or so ago.. and I can't find it on MACs website, even thought about 2 weeks ago I seen it on a MAC display so maybe it has been re-released.

Viva Glam Gaga

Part of MACs Viva Glam range, Viva glam Gaga, is a beautiful soft baby pink colour, it has the formulation lustre, it is also another very creamy and moisturizing formula. This is an amazing colour can wear it on nights out, or even during the day for a slight pop of colour. If you like baby pinks, this is definately a lipstick for you! One of MACs most popular and available online, and at any MAC counter.

Mellow Mood

Mellow Mood is another lustre lipstick, like Gaga. Although I like the formulation, I do not like the colour, it's like a red/brown colour. I basically don't like it because the colour does not suit me at all. I don't know if its my skin colour, or because of how I wear it. I just find the brown to dark for me. It shows up more pinky/red on swatch but in the tube its much more brown. This was part of MACS tartan collection so sorry.. again you might not be able to get your hands on this.

Viva Glam Nicki

Viva Glam Nicki is available at MAC! It's their latest edition to their Viva Glam collection, and I absolutely love it, I only wear it on nights out again as the colour is too bright for day time for me. But I LOVE the colour, its a very nice pink colour. Its in the formulation satin (yes MAC have A LOT of different formulations!).

Cremecup

Cremecup is a perfect first lipstick for anyone new to MAC or lipsticks. Cremecup has what is called a cremesheen fomulation, which is basically what you think it would be by the name - creamy. Cremecup is a perfect everyday colour just like the next and final lipstick. Its a lovely pinky/nude very natural. And as you can tell from the picture at the very top. YES I LOVE IT. :)

GEL

Yes last but certainly not least is Gel. Gel is part of MACs permanent collections as well as cremecup so it's available always so don't panic! :) Gel is a lovely golden, shimmery nude. It has the formulation frost, this lipstick is a new discovery of mine from MAC but right up their with my fave lippys! Even though I absolutely adore it, I HATE the formulation, frost by far is definitely my least favourite formula, it dries out my lips really bad and I need to re apply the lipstick quite regularly. So I would advise to put on a good lip balm first and then a good clear lipgloss afterwards to prolong the colour. The colour applies more sheer than you would expect which is why it's a perfect everyday colour!

So there you have it my MAC collection.. and reviews! + if you need anymore information just email me :)

Till next time, Love
Chloe - xoxo

Top 5 Glitter Nail Polishes ♥

Glitter Polish

Two of my favourite things: Nail Polish & Glitter. I have decided to do a post on my top 5 glitter polish because basically I love them. Each one is from a different brand.
Left to Right: Juicy Jules, Glastonbury, Happy Birthday,Fantasy Fire & Disco Biscuit.

So let's get started! - (these are not in order of favourite)

First of all we have Models own in 'Juicy Jules'.

It is a silver glitter polish with very small pieces of glitter, that is slightly holographic, you do however need 2/3 coats of this polish to get to the desired colour, but with most glitter polish you do tend to need to do that.. I have another 3 Models Own glitter polish, I also have a pink, black and green one but out of them all Juicy Jules is my favourite. I got this in a set from River Island with the pink and black one for around £9.99 and I thought was a good deal! You can buy these separately for £5 each on models own website at http://www.modelsownit.com/nails/nail-polish/glitter-nail-polishes.html .

Next we have Nails Inc London in 'Glastonbury'

This was one of my very first glitter nail polish's' if not my first, and it is lovely on the nails, it has very small glitter like Juicy Jules, except it has only got purple, green and gold glitter. This is one of Nails Incs' special effect polish. I purchased this from a Nail Inc counter in Debenhams, It's not on their website so I think it was a limited edition, but i'm sure you could find it online on ebay or somewhere..

Thirdly we have Deborah Lippmann 'Happy Birthday'.

This polish is my favourite out of the 5, however it is the most expensive, at £16 a pop! This polish is one of Deborah Lippmann most popular.  It consists of different sizes of glitter, bigger and chunkier than all the other polishes. This does take time to put on as I needed about 4 coats to get the look in the bottle, but the finish is worth the effort! The only down side to this amazing polish, is that in my experience it took ages to get of my nails!

You can find it here at Beauty Bay, http://www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/deborahlippmann/happybirthday/  or I know House of Fraser does it, as that is where i purchased mine.

4th we have Max Factor,  Max Effect in 'Fantasy Fire'.

This is my most recent purchase from boots, apparently it's hard to get hold of but I found it on boots and I checked earlier it is in stock online. This polish is currently what I have on my nails as shown in the picture (my ring finger has Butter Londons 'Black Knight' over the top). You do need about 4 coats of polish, to get the colour on my nails.

This is a beautiful purple/blue/gold chrome effect nail varnish, and at £3.99 is a bargain! Boots also have a 3 for 2 offer on a lot of their beauty products so get down now and snap up this polish!

Last but not least, Butter London 'Disco Biscuit'.

Another quite pricey nail polish, I purchased this one from Avoca for £12, I'm not sure where else you can buy Butter London polish from a shop other than Avoca and Harvey Nicholas, but try online.. This polish is in Butter Londons new spring collection. It is a lovely hot pink/ magenta with very small blue shimmers, again quite a few coats are needed, and I wasn't too keen on the after effect it felt sort of rough, and I didn't like this, however easily fixed with good a top coat! The blue shimmers are really hard to see in the picture, but they are a nice bright blue, nice little contrast with the hot pink in my opinion!

So there you have it my top 5 glitter polishes ! Hope you enjoyed it, and if you would like to see any more pictures (how they look on the nails) just comment below!

Love,
Chloe -xoxo
